Minneapolis home prices rise in July 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in July 2017 in Minneapolis rose by $8,100 while total sales decreased by 8.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In July 2017, there were 510 homes sold, with a median sale price of $248,000 - a 3.4% increase over the $239,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 560 homes sold in Minneapolis in July 2016.

The median sales tax in Minneapolis for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $2,968, approximately 1.2% of the median home sale price for July 2017.
