Dayton home prices rise in August 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2017 in Dayton rose by $35,100 while total sales increased by 30.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2017, there were 17 homes sold, with a median sale price of $355,000 - a 11% increase over the $319,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 13 homes sold in Dayton in August 2016.

The median sales tax in Dayton for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $3,868, approximately 1.1% of the median home sale price for August 2017.
