Minneapolis home prices rise in September 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in September 2017 in Minneapolis rose by $17,650 while total sales decreased by 9.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In September 2017, there were 409 homes sold, with a median sale price of $235,000 - a 8.1% increase over the $217,350 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 452 homes sold in Minneapolis in September 2016.

The median sales tax in Minneapolis for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $2,968, approximately 1.3% of the median home sale price for September 2017.
