Independence home prices rise in February 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in February 2018 in Independence rose by $120,000 while total sales increased by 66.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In February 2018, there were five homes sold, with a median sale price of $320,000 - a 60% increase over the $200,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were three homes sold in Independence in February 2017.

The median sales tax in Independence for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $5,414, approximately 1.7% of the median home sale price for February 2018.
