New Brighton home prices fall in May 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in May 2017 in New Brighton fell by $6,380 while total sales remained unchanged with 34 homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

In May 2017, there were 34 homes sold, with a median sale price of $218,750 - a 2.8% decrease over the $225,130 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 34 homes sold in New Brighton in May 2016, as well.

The median sales tax in New Brighton for 2017 was $3,078. In 2016, the median sales tax was $3,036. This marks an increase of 1.4%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.4%.
