St. Paul home prices rise in February 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in February 2018 in St. Paul rose by $31,250 while total sales decreased by 15.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In February 2018, there were 188 homes sold, with a median sale price of $185,750 - a 20.2% increase over the $154,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 223 homes sold in St. Paul in February 2017.

The median sales tax in St. Paul for 2018 was $2,772. In 2017, the median sales tax was $2,566. This marks an increase of 8%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.5%.
