St. Paul home prices rise in June 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in June 2018 in St. Paul rose by $5,100 while total sales increased by 9.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In June 2018, there were 413 homes sold, with a median sale price of $205,100 - a 2.6% increase over the $200,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 376 homes sold in St. Paul in June 2017.

The median sales tax in St. Paul for 2018 was $2,772. In 2017, the median sales tax was $2,566. This marks an increase of 8%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.4%.
