The Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) announced that winter load increases in the Metro, South, and Southeast frost zones will conclude at 12:01 a.m. on Friday, February 28. Information regarding seasonal load limit zones and restricted routes is available on the MnDOT load limits map.

The department will continue issuing overweight permits for vehicles exceeding an 80,000-pound gross vehicle weight, provided all axle and group weights comply with legal limits.
