Median home prices in Shakopee rose to $302,600 in the second half of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2021 in Shakopee rose by $36,700 while total sales increased by 18.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2021, there were 375 homes sold, with a median sale price of $302,600 - a 13.8% increase over the $265,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 317 homes sold in Shakopee in the second half of 2020.

The median sales tax in Shakopee for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $3,086, approximately 1% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2021.
