Minnesota Rep. Steve Drazkowski (R-District 21B) is calling on Attorney General William Barr and Minnesota Secretary of State Steve Simon to take action to protect the integrity of the election from what he called "massive" voter fraud in the state.
Drazkowski addressed the issue during a virtual press conference held live on Facebook this week. Drazkowski spearheaded and helped organize the investigation into voter fraud during the Aug. 11 primary election that included both absentee ballots and in-person voting.
"New evidence clearly points to a culture of fraud which resulted in mountains of fraudulent ballots being cast and counted, possibly changing the outcome of several races," Drazkowski said in a release posted on the Minnesota House of Representatives website.
Drazkowski said the investigation revolved around three repetitive complaints and accusations made by community members. Those complaints included a "widespread ballot buying scheme" where voters were paid anywhere from $100 to $200 per vote, an organized absentee ballot harvesting organization that deprived voters of their right, and inconsistency at poling places where illegal ballots were allowed and counted.
Drazkowski wants the state legislature to hold emergency committee hearings to hold off on mailing out and counting ballots until "we can get to the bottom of this mess."
