City of Afton issued the following announcement on March 17
Regarding recent outbreak of novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), we are taking precautions to prevent spread of disease at City Hall.
We are closely monitoring the situation and following guidance from public health officials, so we can provide a safe environment.
Starting Monday March 16, we are going to cease meeting the public face-to-face and start using an office drop off box to deliver any permits, payments and documents.
Please leave your items and call 651-436-5090 to let us know you left an item needing attention.
Please note, we will continually be emptying the box throughout the day.
We will be mailing out all approved Building Permits.
