Bloomington home prices fall in January 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in January 2017 in Bloomington fell by $29,500 while total sales decreased by 15.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In January 2017, there were 45 homes sold, with a median sale price of $216,500 - a 12% decrease over the $246,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 53 homes sold in Bloomington in January 2016.

The median sales tax in Bloomington for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $2,927, approximately 1.4% of the median home sale price for January 2017.
