On August 5, the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) Minnesota hosted a webinar focused on the state's new independent contractor laws enacted in 2024. The event aimed to inform business owners about how these legislative changes could affect their operations.

Jon Boesche, NFIB State Director, and Martin Kappenman, a labor and employment attorney from Peters and Kappenman as well as an NFIB member, led the session. They provided an overview of the laws and addressed questions from attendees.
