The Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) has announced a public meeting to discuss the upcoming roundabout and resurfacing project at the intersection of Highway 57 and Dodge County Road 16 in Mantorville. The open house is scheduled for Wednesday, March 5, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. It will take place at the Dodge County Extension Office building located at 721 North Main Street, Mantorville, MN 55955, in Conference Room B. Attendees are advised to use the entrance on the south side of the building.
During this meeting, participants will have an opportunity to learn about the project's background and design and provide feedback. Project team members will be present to answer questions. For those unable to attend in person, information will be available online with options for providing feedback.
MnDOT's plans include constructing a roundabout at the specified intersection and resurfacing a section of Highway 57 from 9th Street in Mantorville to Dodge County Road 16. Construction is set for summer 2027. Details regarding detour routes and construction timelines will be shared as they become available.
