The first quarter of 2022: Lexington experienced a 87.5% increase in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2022 in Lexington rose by $104,950 while total sales decreased by 33.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2022, there were two homes sold, with a median sale price of $224,950 - a 87.5% increase over the $120,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were three homes sold in Lexington in the first quarter of 2021.

The median sales tax in Lexington for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $3,015, approximately 1.3% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2022.
