ANNANDALE AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE: No Longer Accepting Boneless Venison Trimmings During November and December

Venisonstake

Annandale Area Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Oct. 8.

We will no longer be accepting boneless venison trimmings during the months of November and December, due to the continued increases in volume creating freezer space shortages.

We encourage you to either bring your deer in as a whole carcass (field dressed with hide on) OR store your boneless trimmings in your freezer in food grade bags (not garbage bags) and bring them in for processing between 1/2/21 and 4/15/21.

New this year and going forward, due to CWD concerns we will no longer be accepting out of state deer and antelope (all other out of state wild game will still be accepted, at this time).

Sorry for any inconveniences this may cause you. We appreciate your continued support of our business.
