On March 21, 2025, Omar expressed gratitude for the community engagement at a town hall event in Minneapolis. She noted the significant participation, stating "What an incredible turnout! Thank you to the over 500 people who showed up and participated in our in-person town hall in Minneapolis this evening. And a special thank you to our local leaders who joined us for this important conversation with our neighbors."
Later that day, Omar highlighted her visit to Chromatic 3D Materials in Golden Valley. She remarked on the company's contributions to national security through its partnership with the U.S. Army, sharing "It was incredible to visit Chromatic 3D Materials in Golden Valley. She stated that it threatens Minnesota jobs and commodities as well as humanitarian work conducted by local organizations.
