Aitkin Area Chamber of Commerce recently issued the following announcement.
Event Name: Taste of Aitkin
Date: THURSDAY OCT. 8 2020
Location: 40 CLUB CONVENTION CENTER
Get ready for winter and put a little meat on your bones! Join us Thursday, October 8th to sample delicious dishes from area vendors. Taste of Aitkin will be hosted at the 40 Club Convention Center. Vote for your favorite dish to win the People’s Choice Award.
In accordance with COVID safety guidelines, the event will look a little different this year:
1. We will have 2 dinner seatings so we don’t surpass 25% capacity. Each seating will have 75 spots available.
2. Tables and vendors will be socially distanced. Masks required.
3. Event coordinators will sanitize surfaces often and between each use.
The People’s Choice Award will be announced at the end of the second dinner seating; we will also live-stream it on our Facebook page.
In order to plan efficiently, there will be no at-the-door tickets available. We also encourage guests to purchase online tickets this year.
