South St. Paul home prices fall in February 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in February 2019 in South St. Paul fell by $3,750 while total sales increased by 22.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In February 2019, there were 22 homes sold, with a median sale price of $193,750 - a 1.9% decrease over the $197,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 18 homes sold in South St. Paul in February 2018.

The median sales tax in South St. Paul for 2019 was $2,558. In 2018, the median sales tax was $2,515. This marks an increase of 1.7%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.3%.
