City of Albany issued the following announcement on Sept. 23.
Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Albany will hold a public hearing at 6:30 o’clock in the evening or as soon as possible thereafter on Wednesday, October 2, 2019, at the City Administration Building, 400 Railroad Avenue, for the said City. The purpose of the public hearing is to consider an amendment to the Albany Schedule of Fees and Charges, to increase the Water Rates Sections 30.19.1, 30.19.2, 30.19.5, 30.19.6, and Sewer Rates, Sections 31.11/32.26, 31.09.2, 32.31, 33.02.3, 33.02.4. Anyone wishing to comment will be heard at the public hearing and written comments may be forwarded to the office of the City Clerk/Administrator before the time of the public hearing.
