On August 6, 2025, the Morrison County Sheriff’s Office responded to a two-vehicle collision on 160th Avenue, just south of 183rd Street in Belle Prairie Township, about one mile north of Little Falls, Minnesota. The incident occurred at approximately 3:34 p.m.

Authorities reported that Donald Biskey, age 96 and a resident of Little Falls, was driving southbound on 160th Avenue when his vehicle struck the rear of a parked flatbed truck and trailer. Following the impact, Biskey’s car was pushed into the northbound lane where it sideswiped another vehicle operated by Patricia Zumberge, age 63, also from Little Falls.

The stationary truck and trailer belonged to MC Fiber (CTC) and were being used by a fiberoptic work crew in the area. According to the sheriff’s office statement: “They had a working and operational amber light as well as traffic cones and proper signage on the roadway.”

Biskey was transported by Mayo Clinic Ambulance to St. Gabriel’s Hospital with injuries that have not yet been specified. Zumberge did not sustain any injuries.

The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office received assistance at the scene from the Little Falls Fire Department, Minnesota State Patrol, and Mayo Clinic Ambulance.
