EDA awards over $4 million in grants for economic development projects in Minnesota in 2023

In 2023, the Economic Development Administration (EDA) issued seven grants totaling $4,865,705 to fund economic development projects in Minnesota.

This represents a 91% decrease from 2022, when the state received $53,888,011 in funding.

Minnesota ranked 31st across the U.S. in total EDA grant funding for 2023. South Carolina topped the list with $30,038,466 in funding across 14 grants.

Grand Portage Reservation Tribal Council received the largest EDA grant for funding an economic development project in the state, totalling $1,897,337.
