In another tweet on the same day, she discussed Trump's tariff policies during an appearance with Kaitlan Collins. She emphasized their negative impact on Minnesotans: "I joined Kaitlan Collins to break down Trump’s harmful tariff policies and how they would hit Minnesotans hardest."
Two days later, on March 10, 2025, Rep. Omar commented on a potential government shutdown, attributing responsibility to Republicans for pushing a partisan resolution.
