Her recent tweets highlight her engagements and perspectives on education funding, diversity in workplaces, and community leadership.

On February 18, 2025, Rep. Omar addressed concerns regarding federal funding cuts to Head Start programs initiated by Donald Trump. She shared her visit to the PICA Head Start Training Center in Minneapolis where she engaged with educators about the impact of these cuts. "Donald Trump shut off funding for dozens of Head Start programs across the country."

The following day, February 19, 2025, Rep. Omar met with Sharon Smith in Minneapolis to discuss workplace diversity amidst what she described as "the Trump Administration’s attacks on diversity, equity, and inclusion." This meeting was part of ongoing efforts to foster inclusive work environments. "I met with Sharon Smith...to discuss how we can continue to prioritize building diverse and inclusive workspaces..."

Later that same day, Rep. Omar expressed gratitude for Black community leaders during Black History Month. She emphasized her commitment to working alongside them towards a promising future for their communities in Minnesota.
