Rep. Ilhan Omar, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Minnesota’s 5th district since 2019, recently shared her activities and perspectives on social media. Later that day, Rep. Omar expressed pride in recognizing three Minneapolis restaurants—Spoon and Stable, Vinai, and Bûcheron—on the House floor for being semifinalists for the 2025 James Beard Awards. This acknowledgment highlights her support for local businesses within her district.
