The third quarter of 2021: Home prices in Lakeland increased

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2021 in Lakeland rose by $114,950 while total sales remained unchanged with six homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2021, there were six homes sold, with a median sale price of $349,200 - a 49.1% increase over the $234,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were six homes sold in Lakeland in the third quarter of 2020, as well.

The median sales tax in Lakeland for the most recent year with available data, 2020, was $2,635, approximately 0.8% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2021.
