Former Minnesota Gov. Mark Dayton, 73 has married Ana Orke, 32, his former intern and campaign aide.
Dayton met Orke when she interned for him back in her high school days, according to SouthernMinn.com
“Ana Orke's interests in politics began when she was a senior in high school. She worked as an intern for Mark Dayton in his run for Minnesota office.” read a 2008 post from their website.
Orke in 2008 worked on the Hillary Campaign for the primaries and two years later she was Dayton’s campaign aide.
Dayton announced his marriage to Orke which came after 20 years of “bachelorhood.”
The 41-year gap cannot be ignored easily and the news was met with mixed feelings.
