BEMIDJI AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE: Annual Feast for the Homeless/Families in Transition to be held on November 5

Bemidji Area Chamber of Commerce recently issued the following announcement.

Name: Annual Feast for the Homeless/Families in Transition

Date: November 5, 2019

Time: 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM CST

Event Description:

If you need volunteer hours or want to give back to your community, the Council of Indian Students are hosting the annual Feast for the Homeless and Families in Transition. We wanted to bring awareness to the understanding that sometimes a families without homes or stable places to live fall into the homelessness category so we are starting to use the term “in Transition” for families and people who are temporarily without a stable place to call home. At this event there will be food served to those in transition, go bags that contain helpful toiletries and hygiene products. Please come out and help your fellow humans.
