St. Thomas softball extended its winning streak against the Green Bay Phoenix to 11 games with a pair of victories on April 20 at King Park in Wisconsin.

The doubleheader saw St. Thomas, now holding a record of 29-13 overall and 8-4 in the Summit League, open their four-game trip through Wisconsin with strong performances both offensively and defensively. The Tommies won the first game 10-4, highlighted by a five-run first inning that included a grand slam from Kameron Monson. Monson also contributed a solo home run in the third inning and finished with four hits.

Freshman pitcher Mya Tautges started for St. Thomas in game one, allowing four runs over 4.2 innings while recording three strikeouts. Ella Cook entered as relief to close out the win, which was further secured by back-to-back home runs from Cook and Abbi Stierlen in the sixth inning.

In game two, Ava Kleinfeldt pitched five scoreless innings before Green Bay mounted a late rally. Early support came from doubles by Abbi Stierlen and Brier Blietz, while Ruby Moore and Zoe Trotter helped drive in runs during key moments of the second and fifth innings. Despite giving up seven runs over two innings due to errors and timely hitting by Green Bay, St. Thomas held on for a 10-7 victory after Cook again closed out the game.

With these wins, St. Thomas maintains momentum as they continue their road trip with an upcoming doubleheader against Wisconsin Badgers scheduled for tomorrow afternoon.
