The median sale price of a home sold in March 2017 in St. Paul rose by $100 while total sales decreased by 11.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In March 2017, there were 255 homes sold, with a median sale price of $166,000 – a 0.1% increase over the $165,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 289 homes sold in St. Paul in March 2016.

The median sales tax in St. Paul for 2017 was $2,566. In 2016, the median sales tax was $2,484. This marks an increase of 3.3%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.5%.
