In another tweet posted on the same day, Rep. Omar visited the PICA Head Start Training Center in Minneapolis. She noted that the center serves over 2,000 families with essential early childhood and family development services, emphasizing her focus on education and community welfare.

Further on March 22, Rep. Omar met with Columbia Heights Mayor Amáda Márquez Simula and other local leaders to discuss federal funding delays attributed to former President Trump’s policies. The meeting aimed at strategizing ways to advocate for their communities amidst these challenges.
