Representative Ilhan Omar, currently serving in the U.S. Congress for Minnesota’s 5th district, recently shared updates on her engagements and priorities via social media. Omar, who succeeded Keith Ellison in 2019 and previously served in the Minnesota House of Representatives, continues to focus on community issues.

On March 22, 2025, Omar tweeted about her visit to Walker Place senior residents. She discussed efforts to counter “the Trump Administration’s attacks on affordable healthcare and Social Security.” The full tweet can be found here.
