Rep. Ilhan Omar, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Minnesota’s 5th district, recently posted a series of tweets concerning executive actions taken by the government. Omar, who has been in Congress since 2019 after succeeding Keith Ellison and previously served in the Minnesota House of Representatives, shared her views on these actions via social media.

On February 7, 2025, Rep. Omar tweeted about an executive action that involves “Unleashing American Energy by Rollbacking Decades of Environmental Protection Laws.” The tweet can be viewed here.
