Otter Tail County announced on Apr. 27 that it is accepting sealed bids for the CSAH 82 Resurfacing Project, identified as SAP 056-682-014. The deadline for bid submissions is set for 1:00 PM on Thursday, May 28.

The project includes full depth reclaim, aggregate base preparation, bituminous paving, and aggregate shouldering. According to the county’s announcement, all electronic bids must be submitted through Otter Tail County’s online bidding system known as bidVault. Mailed or hand-delivered bids will not be accepted.

Bids will be opened and read publicly by the Otter Tail County Board of Commissioners or their designated representative immediately after the submission deadline in the Long Lake Room at the Office of the Otter Tail County Engineer located at 505 South Court Street in Fergus Falls.

This process aims to ensure transparency and fairness in awarding contracts for public works projects within Otter Tail County. The use of an online bidding platform is intended to streamline submissions and improve efficiency during procurement.

The county encourages interested contractors to review all requirements before submitting their proposals electronically.
