One person injured in single-vehicle rollover near Platte Township

On April 30, 2025, the Morrison County Sheriff’s Office responded to a rollover crash on 233rd Street, west of 275th Avenue in Platte Township. The incident occurred at approximately 10:10 p.m.

The Sheriff’s Office stated that Tajia Boxwell, age 23 and a resident of Pierz, Minnesota, was driving westbound when she reached for an item in the back seat. This action caused her vehicle to leave the roadway, enter the ditch, and roll over. Boxwell was taken by private vehicle to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Brainerd. The current condition of her injuries has not been released.
