As the 2024 Election Day approaches, Common Cause Minnesota is urging voters to reach out for assistance if needed. The organization highlights a multilingual, nonpartisan hotline available to ensure every vote counts.

The hotline numbers are accessible in several languages: English at 866-OUR-VOTE (866-687-8683), Spanish at 888-VE-Y-VOTA (888-839-8682), Asian languages at 888-API-VOTE (888-274-8683), and Arabic at 844-YALLA-US (844-925-5287).

Common Cause Minnesota participates in a large-scale nonpartisan election assistance program. This initiative helps voters with inquiries or challenges related to voting. For issues such as voter registration or finding polling locations, individuals can contact the toll-free number 866-OUR-VOTE, where trained volunteers provide support.

Voters should note that absentee ballots must be received by 8 p.m. on Election Day, November 5, to be counted. Ballots can be returned in person to the city elections office or County Elections Office that issued them. As the recommended mailing date of October 4 has passed, returning ballots in person is advised.

“If you have any questions, concerns, or problems voting anywhere in Minnesota call or text 866-OUR-VOTE for nonpartisan assistance,” stated Annastacia Belladonna-Carrera, Executive Director of Common Cause Minnesota. “Holding power accountable starts with voting because it is our voice in shaping our present and future as individuals and a community. It is also how we pick those who will be representing our interests and send a message that We The People remain the ultimate power of our democracy.” She emphasized not letting one’s voice go unheard this year.
