Motorcycle rider injured after colliding with deer near Little Falls

A motorcycle accident involving a deer occurred on June 21, 2025, at around 8:35 p.m. on 173rd Street in Belle Prairie Township, about three miles northeast of Little Falls, Minnesota. The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office reported that Paul Wilczek, a 42-year-old resident of Little Falls, was riding west when his motorcycle collided with a deer.

Wilczek sustained injuries from the crash and was initially transported to St. Gabriel’s Hospital by Mayo Clinic Ambulance. He was later airlifted by Life Link III to St. Cloud Hospital for further treatment. His current condition has not been released.

The incident remains under investigation by the Morrison County Sheriff’s Office. Assistance at the scene was provided by the Minnesota State Patrol, Life Link III, and Mayo Clinic Ambulance.
