The Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) is organizing an open house to discuss the upcoming Highway 11 project in Roseau. The event will take place on Wednesday, March 12, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Roseau Civic Center, located at 121 Center Street E., Roseau.

The project, scheduled to begin in June, involves resurfacing work, sidewalk upgrades, bridge improvements, and enhancements to lighting and utilities. Detours for both vehicles and pedestrians are part of the plan.

According to MnDOT, “This project will include a safer road, safer intersections, longer lasting driving surface, and improved drainage and pedestrian accessibility.” Completion is expected by early September if weather conditions permit.

For those who cannot attend the open house in person, MnDOT has announced that materials related to the project will be available on the Hwy 11 project website for Roseau.
