The Minnesota Vikings and the Minnesota State High School League announced on May 1 that they will host the fourth annual high school football officiating clinic on Saturday, May 16 at TCO Performance Center in Eagan. The event is designed to introduce new candidates to the basics of football officiating.

The clinic aims to address the need for more officials at the high school level by providing training and information for those interested in starting or who are in their first two years of officiating. According to organizers, NFL and Big Ten officials will be present, along with a speaker from the Minnesota Vikings who will discuss why it is important to become involved as an official.

The event is open to prospective high school football officials or those with less than two years of experience. It will take place from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at TCO Performance Center, located at 2600 Vikings Circle in Eagan, Minnesota.

There is no cost for attending the clinic. All participants will receive a gift bag branded by the Vikings and have an opportunity to win door prizes if present.

Registration details are available online, along with additional information about MSHSL officiating opportunities. Questions can be directed via email as indicated by organizers.
