The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2017 in Mayer rose by $1,100 while total sales remained unchanged with nine homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2017, there were nine homes sold, with a median sale price of $226,000 – a 0.5% increase over the $224,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were nine homes sold in Mayer in the first quarter of 2016, as well.

The median sales tax in Mayer for 2017 was $2,844. In 2016, the median sales tax was $2,836. This marks an increase of 0.3%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.3%.
