We need strong, clear rules to protect the wallets, savings, and futures of the American people. It is another dark day in the People’s House.”
She further commented on industry influence over legislation: “The Crypto industry has spent tens of millions to buy influence and now we’re passing three bills crafted by and for the crypto industry. This is why we people feel like the rules are rigged and why we need to get big money out of politics.”
Omar also expressed concern about potential consequences for consumers: “This will put corporate crypto interests over the financial security of everyday Americans.”
