The North Central Small Business Development Center’s Satellite Office at the Chisago County HRA-EDA hosted a Resource Day event on March 25 in North Branch, according to an April 3 announcement. The gathering brought together about a dozen participants for a morning focused on business development and support.

The event aimed to provide current and aspiring entrepreneurs with information, resources, and networking opportunities. Attendees received breakfast and coffee as they learned about the services of the North Central Small Business Development Center, explored available local programs and grant options, and were introduced to key concepts in financial recordkeeping.

A highlight of the session was an interview with a client of the SBDC who discussed practical lessons learned from starting a business. The program also included an interactive workshop where participants worked through creating a one-page business plan.

Organizers said that those who attended left with useful tools, new connections within the entrepreneurial community, and increased confidence to advance their business ideas.
