Brown County designates official website for transportation bid advertisements

The Brown County Board of Commissioners announced on Jan. 6 that the county’s official website, www.browncountymn.gov, has been designated as the primary publication site for advertisements related to transportation project bids. This designation is in accordance with Minnesota Statute 331A.12.

This move affects how contractors and interested parties access information about upcoming transportation projects in Brown County. The decision aims to centralize public notices and improve accessibility for residents and businesses seeking updates on county infrastructure projects.

“Pursuant to Minnesota Statute 331A.12, the Brown County Board of Commissioners have designated the Brown County’s official website, www.browncountymn.gov, the official publication of Advertisements for Bids for Transportation Projects,” said Sam Hansen, Brown County Administrator.
