Benton County announced on April 15 that it is developing a Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) Plan aimed at improving safety on county roads. The initiative is intended to guide future roadway safety strategies across the county.

The SS4A Plan will affect all residents, whether they drive, walk, bike, use mobility devices, or take transit. By focusing on comprehensive safety improvements, Benton County aims to make streets and roads safer for everyone.

According to the announcement, the plan will create a prioritized list of projects based on data analysis and stakeholder feedback. Officials said this approach will help determine which areas need attention first and how resources should be allocated.

Community participation is encouraged through an SS4A survey. Input from residents will help shape the final list of projects as well as inform decisions about funding priorities in coming years.

As Benton County moves forward with this planning process, officials are emphasizing collaboration with stakeholders and ongoing engagement with the public.
